The things people consider to be delicacies...

I've been mostly indifferent about animal rights issues, but this practice is just barbaric.

California ban on foie gras starts tomorrow.

People are pigging out on the stuff while it's still legal.

Yuck! :\

YUK....I never did understand how folks would pay so much money for a piece of goose liver..
I was not an animal rights activist before this plan, but I have since come to the believe that all creatures be it animal or human have a right to live...not be food for someone else, unless we are talking about"the circle of life" that goes on in the animal kingdom ...

Hard to believe that I was eating it not so long ago, you're right on... It is delicious btw... Hopefully they will ban bacon next, not holding my breath tho.

I tried it once. (This was back when I was an omnivore.) It was a 40th birthday fancy restaurant treat.

It was disappointing. I was expecting bliss. It was fatty, greasy, and unexciting. Never had it again.
