Since switching from a low carb no oil diet to a high carb lower in fat no oil diet " I figured out oils were the cause of alot of my health problems along time ago"Dr mcdougall was the only one who confermed this truth for me, so I figured this would be the perfect diet, but when I switched I developed red and irritated eyes and have gained a little weight too! I am trying the no fruit or sugar thing but my eyes are driving me crazy! I need help.

You might be dealing with some sort of allergic response to something. Perhaps environmental or even dietary but that would be my first suspicion. I have not heard of this reaction to the diet previously.

If you are going to try to find if it's a dietary allergy you could try eliminating individual items till you find something but most people tend to work the other direction. Start with a bare bones elimination diet and then add back items over time. If you still have issues on the bare elimination diet I would say it's time to look beyond diet.
