I think I'd like a separate journal forum, too, because my journal has been a powerful tool for me so far, and I think having a forum for it might encourage other people to do it too, which I'd really like to see. :)

Wow, I'm happy to see a journal section now! Would it be possible to move my journal from the lounge forum to the journal forum? I'm so excited to see everyone else writing, and I don't want to be all alone (well, I guess not if Molly is still there ;) )

There may be a much better way than this (I'm not very computer savvy) , but here is one plan that came to my mind that might work: Go to the Journal forum and begin a new thread for your journal. Use that opening post only to explain that you are moving your journal entries to the Journal forum from the Lounge, and include a link to your entire previous thread, for any who would care to review the previous entries you made (and for your easy access!):

http://www.drmcdougall.com/forums/viewt ... highlight=

Then continue your individaul entries in your new location.

After establishing the "new" journal, and while still on that page, go to the address bar at the top of your computer page, highlight and copy the address (link), then go back to your original journal thread.

Make a final entry on that thread giving a brief explanation of the change of location for the remaining entries, and include the link to the entries now being made on the JOURNAL forum, and label it something like: "CONTINUED HERE..." .

One thing I don't know is if the link to the new journal would open a page with the continuing entries or only what was posted at the time you copied the link? Maybe someone can help with that, or you can just experiment.

Where ever it is, Happy Journaling, Ise. --and may you record a spectacular 2008!
