I'd love to see a time out on edits.

I have read through a few stickys and older threads which have good information but are hard to follow because people have gone through and edited their posts. (Sometimes whole messages seem to be missing but I think that might be a separate issue.

I understand that folks will want to edit for typos or things they missed even after reviewing the message - but some edits are years later and even the ones that are hours later often distort the conversation and make a thread hard to follow.

Sometimes people post something that is unintentionally upsetting for others, and after some consideration, they might decide to remove it. And there are other valid reasons why someone might want to remove something they posted. Just sayin'.....
