Does anyone use them?

I have seen so many great blog posts with gorgeous pictures of bento lunches.

I want to get some for my kids. I prefer non-plastic.

Which have you used/liked?

Right now all I have is a few Thermos, stainless steel containers for warm foods.

I use laptop lunch boxes and Love Them. I have about 8 boxes for the 3 kids to use for the week. They are plastic which is not a problem because I only pack cold foods. For warm lunches I use Mr.Bento. I love these for so many reasons. I always pack vegan for these and the kids are used to seeing lots of veg in the box. I'm keeping an eye on my special needs child that she doesn't get too heavy and these are so great for portion control. The boxes are easy to arrange and I pack up to 5 at a time so it's easy to load them up assembly line style. They are durable and the first sets I bought are still in good shape after 2+ years of almost daily use. They come with real silverware and lids for two of the 4 boxes. They include a dip container and depending on the style, a drink bottle too.

Laptop lunch ( I swear I don't work for them!) makes a larger size set that I bought for my 11yr old boy. It uses the same box but has room to the side to put additional food. I put 2 additional pieces of fruit and some nuts. He eats them during the morning before lunch. You have to keep in mind though that school is 6 hours with breakfast coming before and by 3 they're home eating a snack. Lunch time is only about 30 minutes. So really it is enough food because it takes them about 30 minutes to eat it. I'm really OK with my kids getting hungry before their next meal.

I like my Mr Bento...actually I should use it more than I do!

Here is a thread from awhile back. My box is the one on the picnic table
