Thought I'd throw Ohio out there to see who's around, and may be interested in getting together sometime.
Doesn't have to be Columbus, but that just happens to be where I am.

I've been less-diligent of late, and would love to get back in the mindset!

I know this is almost a year after you posted, but I have been following a plant-based diet since July, and am so happy I have done so. I would love to meet up sometime to discuss progress and how great I feel! I live on the north side of Columbus.

Hi Jill, it would be terrific to meet up sometime! If you're on the northside, we could meet at the Whole Foods in Dublin sometime..? Perhaps one evening in the next couple of weeks, but let me know what would work for you.

Been vegan for almost three years now, but just started focusing on the Starch Solution today; living in Columbus (Galloway, actually). Figured I'd say hello, and curious how many other McDougall folks are in this area!

There's a very good chance. I don't go to every Vegan/Vegetarian Meetup, but if you recognize me, you'll also recognize litgrade (my wife), as we always go together.

Even though she apparently lives in Columbus, and I live in Galloway.

LOL--I usually use Columbus because (let's face it) I spend way more time in Columbus than in Galloway.

I'll try to nab a table in the large seating area [not the kids section].
I will be the one with a copy of "The Starch Solution" on the table.
[More than one table has a copy of the book? Strike a conversation and invite them over...]

SO disappointed that I can't make it after all. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if maybe we can all meet up again another time, too.

I joined this community out of curiosity several years ago after first learning about Dr. McDougall, but wasn't active and didn't attempt the diet at that time. But with the Starch Solution something really clicked and we are going to go for it. So we're actually brand-new to this way of eating, and I could definitely use any support or tips you all might have! Thanks!
