Lani;
I was searching through another forum that I belong to, Craig Ballantyne's Turbulence Training site. I noticed that you had posted on that site a while back. Since switching over to a plant based diet I've noticed on Craig's site the lack of experienced plant based nutrition info and help. This is how I found out about Dr.M's site and also yours. If I run into any fellow members on Craigs site, would it be okay to direct them here if they need some nutrition advice while working on Craig's TT workouts. His workouts are great and follow along with the Burst training model that you directed me to a while back. When I contacted you before I was worried about my results and the time I had left before my trip. I realize now that my body must have hit some plateau and found out that all I needed was a rest and a tweak in my diet.
Thanks again for your help and you'll notice I have another food question for you on the forum.
Hi Rutty,
Thanks for coming by and absolutely feel free to direct and link anyhone here and to the
plant-based fitness blog as well.
I know that Craig Ballantyne has a healthy respect for a veggie diet, perhaps you were on the Teleclass I had with him as guest to talk about same. At the same time, I agree it's tough to find much support in plant-based fitness out there, and I'm thrilled to be there to help.
Good job on the training tweaking! It's true, our bodies do adapt and we need to mix things up a bit to keep a fit edge. It doesn't have to be that much. A little different on the intervals, intensity, rest, order of things. Keeps the body guessing.
Thanks so much for posting and I look forward to more conversations!
