About Two years ago I was knocked off my bicycle whilst commuting home. I landed sideways heavily as I landed I put my arm out injuring my shoulder. I went to my local hospital in the UK but they were very busy, so foolishly I went home. For about three days I found it hard to move my arm out to the side and upwards. Any how it steadily improved but ever sinceI was getting pain along the top of my left shoulder and into the left side of my neck.
I went to see my doctor who reffered me for MRI which said there was no rotator cuff damage and that it was tendonitis and the start of very mild osteo arthritis. I was then referred to a physiotherapist who took a long look at me and aid it was not arthritis and that what I had was scapula instability. I was given some stretching exercises to do and told it will take six months of constant work to work out and then she left me to it with no further follow up.
So my question is does anyone have any advice on this condition. Are there any recommended exercises I could do to speed up recovery. As I feel rather in the dark over this and I am a manual worker, so cannot really afford for my condition to drag on.
Sorry about the long winded post.
