every year i plant morning glories or nasturtiums in the large window box in front. I did everything the same this year. Theye always have been care free and bloom profusely. This year I have all healthy leaves and vines, but- no blooms! I have not added anything to soil or changed anything so it is perplexing to me and i miss my blooms all around window!
It is possible that i planted seeds that were mostly collected from last years morning glories. Does anyone know if there is something special you need to do to seeds collected?
thanks!

Have you changed out the soil in the box? Planter box soil gets depleted of nutrients pretty quickly.

If your plants aren't setting blooms, they need phosphorous. It's pretty inexpensive.

You might also want to add a complete feed, or even better, some good compost.
