I would like to save space in my garden. Is it possible to only one one yellow squash and one zucchini squash plant?

Don't see why not. LOL, had too many last year did ya?

The first year we were married, I was anxious to show my husband my gardening skills....and planted SIX zucchini plants!! We had them everywhere. The next year I wised up and planted only ONE plant.

I always have one zucchini and one yellow crookneck plant now---kids are on their own now and one plant each is enough for just the two of us. Otherwise, it can get out of control pretty fast...lol

cool. Thanks. I tried it a couple years ago and did not have a good outcome. They take so much darn room that I didn't want to have to share the space. I also want to grow a winter squash this year. So that frees up room.
