My kids follow a pretty good plant based diet. Getting greens into them can be difficult. My 11yo and 7yo tire of all the chewing. I can get about 1/2 cup a day if I'm lucky. They eat plenty of fruits and starches. I have been making them smoothies lately that they love. I blend together 3 cups of raw spinach 1 banana a few strawberries and orange juice. They love it. I was wondering if drinking their greens is as good as eating them, since I'm not taking anything away by juicing only blending.
The smoothie sounds fine and while blended drinks are OK, eating the food whole is healthier in many ways.

You may want to try adding some greens into soups, stews, chilis, and other foods also.
