Oil is a relative new addition to the diet of humans and humans survived without the use of any oil whatsoever till them and had no problem absorbing their nutrients. The fact that adding some oil may increase absorption of some fat soluble vitamins does not mean that this is good, or that you do not absorb any without the oil.
All natural foods have sufficient fat in them for you. You can read several discussions on this topic, including discussions directly on the oil and absorption issue here..

PS: you may want to ask him for the reference which documents that it is exactly 1 tsp of oil that someone of your height, weight, gender and age, along with the diet that you consume, needs.
