Hi Jeff,
I have been reading your posts and welcome all the information that
you are providing all of us! :P

Do you know of any specific foods to help lower a high CRP (ultrasensitive) level?

Thanks for your help!
Cyndi

Hi Cyndi

Thanks.

It is important to look at the whole lifestyle and dietary pattern and not to look for individual foods.

A low fat, plant based, unrefined, unprocessed high fiber diet along with regular exercise has been shown to reduce CRP levels 45% in about 2 weeks. Such a diet is one that is based on fresh fruits, veggies, starchy veggies, whole unrefined grains and legumes.

Thanks for the quick response Jeff.

I did not realize that a person could see results so quickly! :-)

Any suggestions about between meal hunger on MWL program. I have tried to start this, but find I am very hungry before lunch.
Thanks for the help,
Cyndi

Hi Cyndi

Make sure you are getting enough to eat at your meals as the MWL is very low in calorie density. You should be filling up to you are comfortably full.
If you are hungry between meals and are already eating enough at your meals, then there is nothing wrong with having a between meal snack. Just make it one of healthy foods. Hunger is an important signal and the problem is never really hunger but the foods people choose to satisfy their hunger with. So, if you are hungry, eat! :)
