adjusting nutrients for lower calories?

hi jeff, i have a question in regards to tracking calories/nutrients on cronometer.

As far as i know, the recommended "minimums" for required nutrients are based on the needs of an average sized man or woman, consuming a ~2000 calorie diet. So, if you are consuming less than 2000 calories (say 1200 calories - 60% of 2000), should the "minimum requirements" be adjusted to 60% as well?

for example, would it make sense to adjust the minimum calcium from 1000mg to 600mg?

thanks!

When you click "Set To Dietary Intakes," it asks you gender, height, weight and activity and adjust accordingly.

There are several threads that detail my recommendations/adjustments, though I do not have a link to them.

There are only a few though (sodium, omega 3, 6, fat, saturated fat...)
