Jeff, if you were eating about two pounds of sweet potatoes daily for about five months of the year (November-March), during the the seven months (April-October) would you be concerned if your daily vitamin A intake was less than the RDA? :?:

I ask this as one example of many that may come to your mind because it seems to me that for most nutrients the yearly intake is more important that the daily intake. :!:

What do you think? Are there any nutrients that you would not want to omit for one day? :?: :-D

There are many many sources of beta carotene in a healthy diet, with sweet potatoes being only one of them.
