How quickly could one see a change in their triglyceride number decreasing if they gave up drinking beer?

I have no other source to link my high trigs too, so this is the last vice I have been carrying since starting this way of eating in October, 2011. While I experienced a big drop 6 months (59 points), 3 months later there was only a 2 point decrease from 210 to 208, still above a normal level.

It depends.

However, our TG's respond fairly quickly to a change in diet/lifestyle both positively and negatively and sometimes in as little as 24 hours or less.

For instance, what someone did the day before, may impact their fasting TG's the next morning.

So, one who may be consuming alcohol on a regular basis may see a change very quickly.
