Hi

I have the starch solution book, and I'm wondering if it is worth buying the digestive tune up book as well.

I'm struggling with digestion issues. I know this sounds vague, but when my stomach/intestines feel sluggish, so does my brain, and it is really affecting my ability to work (I have a job that involves a lot of concentration). When my gut feels 'clean', my head clears and I can concentrate. The difference is huge, and I've no idea why.

I'm following the diet advice in the Starch Solution book (only for a few days now). Will the digestion book provide further diet advice, or is it more to help understand digestion issues, with the same diet advice?

Thanks in advance, I am learning a lot here. :)

Hi Veg4Health,

I know exactly what you mean. I love the "clean" feeling and had been having a hard time achieving it.

I recently bought "Digestive Tune Up" and got good information and a couple of ideas that have helped. I'm doing a modified version of the elimination diet and including unground flax seed in my diet as a way of getting things moving. It's working. The other suggestion is psyllium husk which has the opposite affect on me.

The other thing I'm doing is a tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar with water in the morning. That is not in the book, but makes we feel clean.

Good Luck!

Sandy

I got the book on Amazon for $10. It is very well worth it.

Good luck!

Sandy
