“We found that not only was performance the same whether bananas or sports drinks were consumed, there were several advantages to consuming bananas,” he [Dr. David Nieman, the principal investigator] said.”

I love bananas. I can't eat them during my workouts as I get cramps running with solid food in my stomach, but I have 1-2 almost every day as part of my oatmeal breakfast and/or snacks.
