Question for Jeff:

Regarding corn pasta, if it doesn't say, "Whole grain corn" or "Whole grain corn flour" but just says "Corn flour", is it safe to still consider it a whole grain?

Thank you for your advice.

HI MrVeg,

Not answering your question but asking a few of my own.
How do you like the corn Pasta? Have you tried it out yet?

How does it hold together after cooking, and how is the taste.?
I want to try it but have hesitated since I tried some soy noodles that I hated the taste of.

What about cooking time? is it shorter than wheat noodles?
I curently eat the rice noodles but they are so fragile and tend to fall apart even when I make them Aldente.

Hi there!

Just chiming is as a corn pasta lover since you were looking for an opinion on it! I use the Trader Joe's brand and in my opinion, it has the consistency and taste of regular pasta that I have been looking for in all of the other gluten-free alternatives. Cooks, acts, and tastes like regular pasta. Not mushy or gooey at all. Give it a try! I think you'll like it :-)

Hi Maren,
Yay Thank you, I actually bought them today to try out. I figured I might as well try them out... but IT sounds like they may be just what I have been looking for.

Poor hubby has been a real champ about putting up with my gluten free crappy noodles LOL
