I am 53 yrs old. on levothyroxine and feel like my metabolism is sluggish. I have an elliptical machine which I use daily for 30 mins. Any ideas on how I can jumpstart it?

And, since this is probably a common question then maybe just point me to the correct thread. I tried a search but didn't find anything useful.
