I've decided to finally make the plunge and commit myself to eating right. I know that making myself accountable by journaling will keep me from slipping when I'm tempted.
I've read all of McDougall's books and watched the DVD's, read many of Barnard's books and recently Essylstyn's book. I'm motivated, but I need to be accountable to maintain, at least until eating healthfully becomes my routine way of life.
I'll be here a long time as I've tons to lose. I'm so thankful that Dr. McDougall is SO caring and generous in providing us this board, as I know no one personally who eats a low-fat vegan diet. I just want to feel energetic and clear headed once again, with a zest for life! I've many health issues, and I know that eating right will help to melt away all of those problems and the weight as well, slowly but surely.
Now I need to go and plan some easy meals and prep some food.
