We are home from a 10 day trip to PA. DH and I had a wonderful visit with his family, and evereyone made sure to have plenty of vegetable dishes for us, but we ate more of a vegetarian diet than a starch based, oil free diet. Yummy food, but not how I want to eat and unfortunately some of the foods that had started to look unappetizing to me are looking way too good again now. Soooo, I am going to try Mary McDougall's mini diet for a week or so and see if that will help me get back on track.

If this works as well as I am hoping it will, I may want to refer back later to see exactly what I ate and how much I exercised, etc. so here we go....

Snack while kayaking - 1/2 peach and a few cherries

I'm envious of your kayaking! Not much of an option here in the desert, although the wash runs when it rains hard.

Are you enjoying all your spuds?

Hi Chile!
Thanks for commenting. :)

I do love my kayaking, I'd go every day if I could.
I have never been to the desert, I am a bit envious of you, too!

So far I am enjoying all my potatoes. I thought I might miss my oatmeal (breakfast is my favorite meal), but so far so good.
