Yeah losing age spots is extremely cool beans. I have to spots that still need to go away that are calcium deposits according to doctor.

Yeah Pork is pretty bad without knowing that. laugh. Another good reason not to eat it.

Rosey, HI sweetie, thanks for stopping by again. All is well, I finally got on scale and it was back down to 171.2 so I am happy. Now it needs to get lower still. enough of the plateau already. No more breads, or candies, and I will continue to lose! Stern talk to self in order daily here.
I went to see a Korean friend today and she loves to garden too. cannot wait to share some plants with her.
I finally altered a pr of capris pants that I have had for a few yrs and were too big to begin with back a few yrs, now that after all my sewing and trimming efforts, they look nice on me. a walmart pr that I thgt one day I'd take in, and wow, mom would be so proud of me, I did it.
Still waiting on the next yardage of material to make the rest of the table runners. I have up 8 small table scarves for the rehearsal dinner, and some sachet bags for a few ladies. filled them up with dried things I grew myself, like rose buds, rosemary, lavender, fennel seeds, and bought some chamomile flowers, and star anise (Mexican spices)
Son and I have been watching more of the VSH.org lectures and all the ones by Dr M. Gregor and Dr. Paulette Chandler are very well worth your time. He takes notes!!
love it!

Glad to see that things have been going well for you. Congrats on taking in your capris! Our mothers always knew we could do these things if we would just try.

Thanks Fuellen, and Rosie for stopping by to encourage me!
Love how the clothes are fitting me. I am doing a lot better here lately, in compliance and need a ton of self talk. Mostly I remember that all the candy in the world is only going to give me discomfort in the gut, gas, and so on, and I will never get in the 7th grade in crowd anymore, so I need to quit trying!
It is a SAD world I live in, went to a board mtg today for a DAC group and brought my own food and then had pd for the lunch, so ate some of it what I could comments ranged from, oh, you the good one, or you are being so good, you brought a salad.... and so many of them talked of medical issues, and were over wt (of course) too much snackies were all laid out, and amazing, I ate my 2 little potatoes and did not need the cookies or the brownies at all! Fruit salad was good tho!!
I keep telling myself, that nothing will ever taste as good as what it feels to eat McDougall and feel so healthy and good!

Tonight is another of the vegan pot lucks and this one is very close by, so, it will be a short drive, like 5 minutes. I invited DH to come with me, (again) and he said but what am I going to eat? I said, you can try some of the food there, and you do love the veggies and soups, so there will be a lot of those foods there of course. His reply? ok, how long?? I told him it is usually about an hr and a half... jeesh, but we will see I guess. Still deciding what to bring. I love potatoes, so maybe one with that. and veggies. and cheezy sauce, cannot decide at this moment.
House seems like a minefield, but one that I can do ok, these days! what a miracle that is too.
Dh went out and bought another carton of ice cream, and little pies, and the black licorice still sits around too. I do wonder about his health, but cannot help him, he has to do it himself. He loves the cabbage family of veggies, and I usually cook on of those daily and or spinach and kale for myself. Love the kale dishes, maybe on of those tonight!

Vegan pot luck went super well. DH and son did go, so it was the 3 of us. DH had a good time, and regaled them with tales, and how I twisted his arm to get there. close to the truth! Son said my dish was the best one there, and I thought that was very nice to say.
I have been working out a lot longer and harder at gym this last 2 wks, and it shows too. I can now do like 15 - 25 min on the strider machine and my knees so not hurt. I am not sure what is up with that, but it is great news. I used to really avoid that wt room, and just want to hit the pool and only do my water exercises, but now after last wk, 4 days in a row on the machines, and then this week, 2 days in a row on the machines, I feel so good, I hate to stop. I really want to buy on of these strider machines for myself. Would I use it tho? hmmm...
anyway, got weighed and taped at teh fitness center and it was good news this time: I lost 3 lbs and an inch in the abdomen and was super elated by that one. so at home I am 169 (again) wish I could get a lot lower. I know I saw the number before, adn this time it wil stick around~! I keep throwing out more and more stuff no one is eating..... DH buys his own junk food, IE ice cream and little pies, and eats them too. But still I try to make him greens daily and he loves spinach with some vinegar daily.
son and I have green smoothies or greens, and or some juicer juice IE: carrot/orange. love it.
I have noticed a lot more energy and more sleep at night, less and less getting up and so forth. Nice!
looking forward to a lifetime of more of the same!

ahh, I am very happy this am, the scale told me a new number, 167. something and I do not think I have seen that one in a long time...
one week til the wedding and I am cleaning up everything, and getting is all organized around here for the reh. dinner, and just tried on my dress for wedding. It seems to fit better, since I have lost a few lbs again. I would love it if numbers got to the 150s!!
got a ton of stuff to do, but had to jump on and say this anyway.
the biggest thing I am sticking to is no sweets at all, whole foods, and plenty of starches of course. and veggies and some fruits too. Son loves to juice a few things and the juicer drinks are so wonderful.
I can smile big time today!

Laugh. you can be a skinny lady and still have a big chest sweetie. I think I'm kinda stuck with that too. Every since I had my kiddos.
