But no more. Even if the switch isn't up, we still have our hands to feel in the dark. We can still eat well. We can still make good choices...We got this. Let's do this

This is a really GREAT point, Debbie! I believe you are right. We can just keep "fakin' it till we make it!" It's dangerous to wait for some "magical" switch to happen in my brain...I can easily use that as my next big excuse!
mtns, and RAS, thanks for your thoughts as well. It's nice to know I'm not alone in this, and that I'm not crazy!
I do believe this is possible. I've been thinking alot about belief and the power of my own thoughts. I can get lost there, or I can CHOOSE to use my thoughts to propel me forward. I'll try that today!
My blood sugar was 124 today!! Yay! I'm excited to see it down. It was up as high as 145, so this is an improvement.
I've already done my cardio today (30 min elliptical), and I plan to go back to the gym for my strength training as soon as I'm done helping with childcare at church this morning. Hopefully my friend will come with me, but if not, I'm going anyway. I'm wearing my workout clothes to church, just to be sure I make myself go.
I can do this today. That's all I have to worry about. I can do this today.
I've made cabbage soup, and that's what I plan to eat today for lunch and snacks. I had a bagel for breakfast

, but that's then, this is now...Cabbage soup...lunch, dinner, snacks...
My quotable quote for today:
Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude. ~Thomas JeffersonI'd still love to hear from anyone who has any more thoughts on making this "click."...maybe some of you success stories could weigh in here and enlighten us all...and help us believe we can get where you are.
