I've been wondering about starting a new journal, because the first post in this one is so long and, by now, feels quite outdated. But I'll leave it up there for now... I'm not great at keeping up with my own journal, anyway!
This is just a quick update to say, I'm still around and still McDougalling most of the time, although I am now going out to eat much more frequently and McDougall choices aren't always - OK, let's be honest, this is the UK - there are no McDougall friendly choices available. I eat vegetarian, vegan if possible but even that can't always be accommodated.
This is because I'm now in a serious relationship - happy days, and I find myself in a much healthier mindset overall in terms of food and eating. I go hungry sometimes. I eat naughty things sometimes. On regular days (at home, at work) - most days - I stick to simple McDougall choices.
He accepts my choices and even cooks for me; so it's just when we go out that I can't always get what I would like, and I find that it's just not worth the hassle for me to stress over it.
So that's my update
