Nice to have enough clothing choices to be picky! When I go to the thrift stores to shop, I'm always jealous of how much more is available in the smaller sizes. I'll get there eventually and then be able to select what looks good not just what fits and has no stains or rips!
I have two bikes. One is a hybrid style - not a mountain bike or cruiser or road bike - that is pretty heavy. I can get decent speed on it when I'm in shape. The other one, the one that's been stuck in storage for over two years, weighs even more but it also has an electric assist motor on it. So, when I encounter a hill or I'm carrying a heavy load (it's got huge panniers), I can get a little help. Because of this, I am able to expand my riding options considerably, especially since I live in an area with hilly roads and my knees complain about biking uphill right now. Can't wait to have the big bike here soon! This weekend hopefully!!!
Yeah when he gave me these he pulled up with a 16ft utility trailer half full of clothing. About half full of clothing. He told me to take anything I might wear that was my size or smaller and then choose from it later and pass on anything I didn't end up wanting. Plus side is I have a friend that wears the same size who's house burned down a month ago. So she gets to have fun going through the rest of it.
We have been talking about getting me a hybrid bike as well. So that I can go faster then I can with my cruiser. I am planning on getting a rack and panniers for my cruiser so far been just using a back pack but would love to have the junk in panniers instead.
