I use my phone. I have a phone with android software an I have an app called imapmywalk that I use with it. if you look at my face book or my twitter it posts to both. I just put the total mileage for the day in here but it posts each separate walk to those places.

I have found that each day the eating gets less and less important. How about you? Your food logs are looking good. So nice to see the pounds falling off.

Yeah it is less and less important. I eat when I feel hungry and yes I'm actually feeling hungry. I used to skip meals all the time because I wasn't feeling hungry and then when I did eat I ate to much now that I actually feel hungry it's so much better. Eating healthy has helped my body in so many ways. I still have to force myself out the door for my walks/runs sometimes but even those are getting easier to do.

4.07 miles today. .22 of that was running with no walk breaks longest I've done so far.

B: rice, greens, veggies, seasonings.
L: Rice and bbq sauce
D: Rice and bbq sauce
S: Lara bar

Rosey, ok, that does explain how you know the exact walking amt you do!! it is the android! I have tried several of the clip on pedometers and they just do not work well. Well anyway, I have just seen your fb collection of pix and am so impressed by them. what a big change. I am getting a ton of inspiration from you. And I can second the comment that my eating is not as important either... amazing.

Friday and Saturday walking was less 2.05 miles in mall

Friday
B: Rice, greens, veggies and bbq sauce
L: banana, date and blueberry smoothie
D: Rice, greens, veggies, peanut butter and seasonings.

Saturday
B: Rice, greens, veggies, peanut butter, and seasonings.
L: Salad with ketchup and mustard
D: Rice with bbq sauce
S: was bad and had candy and slurpee at movies.

I used imapwalk for first time yesterday, love it. But my android phone is acting up and the battery isn't lasting so it only recorded on third of my walk, DANG :cry:

But that posted fine to my facebook page - so I am finding it pretty cool. Which android do you have? I have the HtC one and if it's really broken it will be my second replacement. Arghhh!!!

@cAROLLYNNE If you don't have an android phone Like me you can still map your walk by going to the Imapmywalk site. they have satellite maps and you can go on there and actually map your walk and it tells you exactly how far you walked and you can log everytime you walk .. I have all of my walking routes plugged into mine.

What Kittyadventures said works just as well as the phone and doesn't kill the battery. My battery by the time I get home on the longer walks is dead.

still at it here too, I tried on some Mother of the groom, type of gowns, and I am very determined to try and lose more wt!! I will do it, and will give up all breads!! that is my one killer food to give up too. Must anyway!

Sorry your foot is still bothering you. I got up this morning and was surprised I could walk a few steps w/o pain. Slowly but surely it's healing. I hope yours does too. :nod:
