Hey Debbie,

It is cooler today, at least in Stockton. 92 for the high so it should be cooler for you. My a/c is on a timer & won't come on until it reaches 82, during the day, it came on around 10 yesterday. Today, it didn't even come on early in the am, I had it set for 530 am, so it would cool off while I was getting ready for work, but now that I am not employed, I guess I need to change that. Tuesday was the 1st day of Aug. that I had turned on the a/c. I seem to run cooler when I eat vegan, anyone else notice that? Anyway, it hasn't been on since about 1030 last night.

I was looking thru your recipes, some of them look good. I like the Tacoless Taco Salad with the missing piece. LOL!!

Great about those pants/shirt, the TTFTL pants. Funny. Boy do I know what you are talking about. When they finally start to slip right on, dont have to suck it in to zip up, you know you are on the right track.

So glad that you are feeling good. Everyone loses their temper once in a while, I find that when I am McD'ing, I am much calmer & much less apt to get mad.

You are doing great!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Debbie,

I wonder if maybe you were retaining water, maybe from the more processed foods earlier in the week, then you lost it. It might take a few days to reg. on the scale, but that might be why your TTFTL pants fit looser. The skin isn't as puffy. Maybe it might not change your weight/measurements but they will catch up. Just a thought.

Glad to hear you are feeling content & happy. You are doing GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Deb,

About your measurements being different. I once saw a bunch of different personal trainers, who all said it's very difficult to measure a client in the exact same spot every time, so they said to take measurements with a grain of salt. Don't let it get you down. I would more go by how your clothes feel rather than measurements. Keep on keepin on

Debbie,

I'm sorry, I feel for ya! First of all, your baby's diet sounds pretty good to me. I would try feeding her first and then nursing. My little girl is 25 months and only 23.something lbs, so it doesn't seem out of line to me. I'm not super strict with her diet. I don't keep cow milk here but if hubby buys it, I'll sometimes give it to her with Ovaltine. Also I let her grandparents feed her whatever they want and she's at their house one day a week. She eats my healthy stuff really well, loves rice. Eats adult serving of oatmeal in the morning, but I let her have fattening stuff like donuts too. She doesn't eat hardly any meat, not a lot of cheese.

I think maybe you and I aren't eating enough. I haven't been eating a whole lot and I think since we are nursing our bodies are probably going into super efficient mode. What do you think? I ate pretty much today but the scale has been up the last two days so we'll see if it made a difference tomorrow. I have been very compliant and walking every day for the last few days.

Good luck and keep the faith!

Nursing still has great benefits for your baby but breast milk is actually a very lowfat food, around 4.5% compared to even oatmeal which is like 5-8% fat. That's why if you're trying to get more fat into her, I would try nursing her after eating instead of before. I wish you the best:) Sometimes they do just jump around a little especially after becoming more active.
