I have been very busy as of late - I am still around.

I am really determined to stick with this program, and get an exercise routine startingup again. I am not going to let myself go down the drains healthwise - never again!

Well, instead of wanting to be on plan, I have decided to just stay on plan.

I already haven't been on plan today, and it isn't even noon yet. However, now is the time to change!

Plan of attack!:

1) Eat breakfast. This is a huge hurdle for me. If I eat breakfast I will be less hungry throughout the day. However, since I am GF I cannot eat oatmeal. I also don't have time to cook rice for 2 hours for congee, I also tend to put a lot of salt in that. I must think of something else. Maybe smoothies?

2) Don't push myself too hard. I am not MWL, and I certainly don't need to be. I can still eat pasta, polenta, and tortillas for variety. Just like when I push myself too hard at the gym, I hurt myself and stop going. So on diet I will not be too strict and I will stay on. I also enjoy Indian food, and I am happy eating a lot of that. I can happily eat that and feel like I'm not missing anything.

3) Eat lots of vegetables. This is a theory I have, though it should be obvious. I am eating a ton of starches and just a minimum amount of vegetables (strange for a vegan, I know). I've eaten starch based, maybe if I add more vegetables I'll feel even better.

4) Cut way back on sugar. I will drink so much tea for a sugar rush every day. Eating a ton of sugar could be causing the fatigue. It could also be caused by drinking almond milk with it as well. I will have to figure out a way to drink tea and enjoy it without adding a lot of over-processed stuff to it. Maybe I can try switching to green tea, or get used to drinking english breakfast tea black, or with a squirt of lemon, which apparently cuts out the bitterness.

5) Say no to chocolate. It aggrovates my heartburn too much. Bye-bye chocolate.

6) Stick to an exercise routine. Getting moving more often will defintely be a good thing for me. I can at least start with some Wii fit and see where that takes me. I will also go to the gym when I have time.

Here I go, good luck to me.

I have started making Indian food again, it is sooo good. I plan to keep making it, it makes me happy.

Breakfast: Leftover mashed potatoes, tea
Lunch: Indian food, just rice, lentils, vegetables, and spices. More tea
Dinner: More Indian food and more tea!

Not going to beat myself up! What good does that do?

Sounds like you have a good plan here. Great job getting right back to it and being kind to yourself. You can do it.

Had a blah day today. Major IBS and Depression attacks. Life goes on.

Breakfast: Tea
Lunch: Indian food, tea
Snack: Crackers and salsa
Dinner: Stewed vegetables, soba noodles. Very japanese, very fun to make.
Dessert: More tea

Note to self: Black tea and lemon does not mix well.

I think I am having some blood pressure problems too. I had to chow down on some tortilla chips, desperate for something salty to bring it back up.Definitely not a good thing to rely on, but I had to do something to get going. Time to see the doctor.

Oil = gross. I ate some today and it turned me right off. No more.

Breakfast: Hashbrowns a la McDougall w/ ketchup, tea
Lunch: Tea
Dinner: pizza, tea

Had some serious gluten pains today, which is why I skipped lunch. Now I feel sick from the oil.

Just trying to be strong now. Suffering through some emotional problems.

Brunch: Uttappa
Lunch/Dinner: Idli and Sambar
Snack: Tea

Making Indian food oil-free was infinitely easier than I had originally thought. I feel really good eating Indian food, I have no idea what the difference is!

I had a good day today!

Breakfast: Homemade dosa filled with leftover aloo gobi and rice.
Lunch: Aloo Gobi, curried vegetables, and cumin rice.
Dinner: Curry rice
Snack: Tea and chips (Bad, bad)
Exercise: 10 minutes of yoga, it's a start!

Last night after I posted I did 30 jackknifes, 20 lunges, adn 6 push-up planks. After that I felt weak and lightheaded, so I stopped.

I love Wii Fit!

Hi Boots - Thanks for stopping by!

Nomikins - a jackknife is kind of like a crunch, except you bring your legs and arms up to a point above you. Good for upper and lower stomach muscles I think!

I have been eating lots of pupusa, coleslaw (no dairy or oil!), and sambar. My idli batter didn't ferment last night so I have to wait another day.

Breakfast: Hashbrowns
Lunch: How and sour soup, and possibly more slaw
Dinner: Sambar

Exercise: I'm doing my best to bring myself to do it, even th last little bit had me hurting for days  I need to start going back to the gym!

Have a good day everyone!

Thank you Boots :)

Breakfast: Uttappa

Lunch: Uttappa, Sambar, and 2 lime pickles

Dinner: Probably veg curry and lentils over brown rice

Snack: Lots of tea, I even had some green tea!!! (Therefore, no sugar and almond milk).

Exercise: I might try some yoga

I am feeling allright, just trying to beat this cold.

Have a wonderful day everyone! :)
