I'm envious - you have your own elliptical? I want one.... :( We went shopping for one a while back but ended up not getting it...

I love doing an elliptical - makes me feel all athletic and stuff - plus, it makes my very flat butt less flat.

And an hour each time? Girl, you rock.

Yes I have my own elliptical but it rarely gets used..It collected dust for like 6 months but then I decided I better use it again. Don't worry the hour work-out is really really really slow and it's only set to incline 0--I take my time but I make sure to stay on for an hour..

I tried an elyptical and got tired after 5 minutes. I think I am programming it wrong or something!

Your determination is so inspiring!

I was bombarded by smells at the Wednesday night market last night. I thought it would be more like a farmers' market, but there were so many SAD offerings, that I admit, smelled tempting.. but when it got bad, we left the street and ate elsewhere. I am always right on the verge of falling. It feels so much better when I don't. (I think I need to move to a seat in the center of the wagon. Balancing on the edge makes it harder to stay on when you hit a bump.)

I'm doing great. I'm on track and on Plan. Just relaxing in bed. I'm going to go shopping for a food chopper--I'm going to start making some fresh salsa...and I need the right equiptment. I've still been buying salsa from the store and it is fresh from the store but I know it will be cheaper for me to make my own. Not much else to report. I got on the elliptical for thirty minutes today. I mapped out a fitness program and here is my plan

4 days of exercise at 30 minutes
3 days of exercise at 1 hour
This comes out to = 5 hours of exercise a week.

This I can do, I know I can :D

Hi Sksamboots,
Most excellent exercise plan. Nancy has been talking about her slap chop and I have to keep reminding myself I have no room in my house for more kitchen gadgets. Give us a review of whatever you choose – I might have to throw something else away to make room.

Hey, I was just thinking on my way home from the arboretum about what my exercise goal oughta be. I came up with 5 hrs a week too and spread it out about like you do. Don't know why I picked 5 hrs. It just seems like something I might do.

Anyway, good for you. I love your energy and success!

Thanks for stopping by.

I had my weekly visit to the Farmers Market, here is the fun

6 bags of baby spinach, Three bags of romaine lettuce, 6 cucumbers, 1 huge case of strawberries, 1 huge case of blackberries, Three small cases of raspberries, 2 quarts of blueberries,6 oranges, 2 bunches of grapes, 1 watermelon, 16 yellow corn on the cob and that's all I can think of for now..

O and somebody asked last week what do I do with all the berries: I make fruit/veggie smoothies every morning. They are so good!!!

Lunch I just had: 1 cucumber, 1 corn on the cob, 1 cup of red beans and some salsa all mixed together.

O' I was also happy to find oil free hummus at the Farmers Market, I got some red bell peper hummus--it's 'ok'.....

Not much else to report..I'm happy :D

Your Farmer's Market shop looks awesome! I can see all the colors. It's so cool that all the food that is good for our bodies is also so pretty to look at!

Have a good week!
