I am new to this website and have never posted anything before so any help will be greatly appreciated. I have scanned Dr. McDougall's website and have seen references to arthritis but nothing on Fibromyalgia. I have recently (over the last year shortly after my hysterectomy) contracted a painful condition in all my joints and particularly in both arms from the elbow down. I have always been active and exercised regularly as well as eating fairly healthy (primarily veggies and starches) but over the last five years have slowed down due to an auto accident and living a more sedentary lifestyle in the country. It has come to a complete surprise to me that at 50 years old, I would suddenly fall prey to this condition and would like to know if it too can be addressed with a special diet? I would really appreciate some advice with this...thanks!

Yes, it can!
There are several people here with Fibromyalgia, and for me at least, it really does help. Check out the Fibromyalgia post in the "Support Groups" section.
I am worth it!
