find...I mean, I think I KNOW most of this, but somehow I didn't feel vanilla extract was entirely safe...okay, though, according to this it is!

I have been avoiding using it because for some reason I felt uncertain...of course, what I have now is imitation vanilla extract (heck of a lot cheaper)...so I still don't feel certain it is gluten-free. But I think I'll get out and by some real vanilla extract over the weekend so I can get back to using that stuff. I was looking for coocnut extract...does not appear on this list and I don't see any reason why it would be any different than vanilla extract...I might try again to look it up when I get more time later just to be 100% certain. Here's the list if it's helpful to anyone here... :)

The list of ok and not ok ingredients in each issue of Living Without is more comprehensive than what is listed on that link. Groundhog, have you gotten a copy yet?

They also have a separate page of the diet (what is ok and not) for autism/aspergers/spectrum disorders that some people follow.

andra

PS, I dont have stock in the magazine. It is just the most comprehensive I have seen.

Thanks.

I am planning to look for that magazine...I won't get a chance until the weekend.

We don't live close to any of the health food stores in our area...and don't have a Whole Foods Market (you mentioned that's where you got Living Without, right?).

someone posted a website too...gonna see if I can find it anywhere over the weekend when I get more time.

It sounds like a great resource! :-D
