find...I mean, I think I KNOW most of this, but somehow I didn't feel vanilla extract was entirely safe...okay, though, according to this it is!

I have been avoiding using it because for some reason I felt uncertain...of course, what I have now is imitation vanilla extract (heck of a lot cheaper)...so I still don't feel certain it is gluten-free. But I think I'll get out and by some real vanilla extract over the weekend so I can get back to using that stuff. I was looking for coocnut extract...does not appear on this list and I don't see any reason why it would be any different than vanilla extract...I might try again to look it up when I get more time later just to be 100% certain. Here's the list if it's helpful to anyone here...

The list of ok and not ok ingredients in each issue of Living Without is more comprehensive than what is listed on that link. Groundhog, have you gotten a copy yet?

They also have a separate page of the diet (what is ok and not) for autism/aspergers/spectrum disorders that some people follow.

I am planning to look for that magazine...I won't get a chance until the weekend.

We don't live close to any of the health food stores in our area...and don't have a Whole Foods Market (you mentioned that's where you got Living Without, right?).

someone posted a website too...gonna see if I can find it anywhere over the weekend when I get more time.
