I got this off the Bob's Red Mill website:
Kasha Purifying Soup (gluten-free)
2/3 c. buckwheat Kernels (roasted Kasha) 2/3 c. lentils 2/3 c. split yellow peas 1 small onion, chopped 1 carrot, peeled & chopped 1 stalk celery , chopped 1 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 clove garlic, peeled & minced 1 and 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. salt 3 c. vegetable broth
Wash lentils, peas and kasha in cold running water and drain. Put them in a 4 quart saucepan. Add all other ingredients. Cover and cook over moderately low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally until lentils, peas and kasha are soft but not too mushy.
Serves 6
Total fat: 1 gram per serving
