But I still wonder about the calorie deficit thing, and so every so often I closely figure my calorie intake on a typical day and think about it. My personal "cheat" - and I would imagine most people have one - is to eat too much fruit. I love fruit, and find it discouraging to only have 2 pieces/day. So if my weight loss is going well, the excess fruit-eating creeps back. This is probably a longer reply than you wanted, but the bottom line is thanks for your reply to my post, and thanks for posting your inspiring story with pictures, I'm re-energized!
