Hey all, I've been veg for 8 years now, just recently found a Meetup group (Forks over Knives) that has re-inspired me to look again at this website. I've been looking at Engine 2 quite a bit and wanting to really tackle weight loss. Always tend to have great intentions and knowledge but poor follow through especially in the evenings. I cook a lot, love to eat, love starches, have a health issue that makes it hard to lose. I hope to draw on the experience of the boards and really do it this time. Thnx!

Welcome aboard, Iceskater1!

I am glad you found us. If you follow the MWL plan, you will probably be able to get as thin as you like...and maybe thinner!

You can see my story here:

Welcome, iceskater1! I'm from Seattle myself (though I've been living in England the past 14 years).

I highly recommend the MWL program. I have been following it for 3 months and am very happy with it, especially because I have more energy than I did before and have been able to lose weight without going hungry. The MWL board offers lots of support and advice.

Good luck and I look forward to hearing about your progress!
