Yes, welcome AnnMarie! This forum is so wonderful - everyone is really nice and supportive and there's so much good info to be found on Dr. McDougall's website. He's the best.
Cutting oil and junk food out of your diet will pay big dividends, and a healthy slender weight is part of being healthy overall. I find that focusing on calorie density is really the key for me as to what weight my body chooses to settle at. Who knew that our set-points were so easily influenced? It's such a relief not to have to try and control how much I eat, but to just eat freely and know that I will stay slim. I love eating this way!
