Can we have nuts? My hubby loves to much on almonds and cashews... Is that allowed on McDougall?

(Veterns: correct me if I'm wrong!) If you are at your optimal weight/growing child you can in their original form (i.e. raw or dry roasted and unsalted- no oil) in small amounts. For the maximal weight loss program or those with cholesterol/trig. problems should avoid nuts.
