After 3 weeks of starch based diet, I'm really noticing a change in my moods. The thing about increased Seratonin seems true because I just have this peaceful easy feeling all the time. It's almost like I'm on some kind of drug. This might be the new-normal but it feels a little strange (but good) at the moment.

I have that too and have for awhile now. I'm much calmer and more relaxed.

I'm just old enough to remember some of the last of the diehard 1960s hippies, still going strong in the 1970s, who were friends of my parents. I remember several of them claiming to be vegetarians because "when I eat meat, it makes me all aggressive; I'm much more mellow when I don't."

Of course, at the time we all just assumed that was more crazy hippie "stuff".

I never ate much meat but meat eaters stink. I can smell a meat eater now and I think it's die to my clean eating for awhile now.
