I have been eating this way since Feb1. I have lost a little over 20 lbs... which is great, half way point, need to lose 20 more. the problem lies in that I find myself eating too much fruit. I get lazy about having veggies cut and ready, potatoes cooked and waiting. I know what I need to do. I just am getting a bit lazy about it. Plus I will say that as much as I love this program, I do see people's weightloss stalling out so I did some research and found that eating more veggies, less rice and potato helps losses... I may try that, not sure though. It is going to be hard to cut the fruit back when the warm weather comes....
I am just complaining out loud, I know what I need to do, I just have to do it... If you read this far, thanks for listening to my moans and groans...

Hi: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. You are doing fantastic!!! I wish I could just stay on the program for a week, fruit or not!! Today is a new day for me however. It is very inspiring for me to hear that you have lost that much weight in just under two months. Congratulations!! Heather.

I am super lazy too. When you have spurts of energy try cutting extra veggies so you can munch on them raw. Some people microwave potatoes and refrigerate them for snacking.

It is really hard to limit fruit. I try to keep mine within the two servings a day but I try not to stress out if I go over. I usually only go over when I am visiting people and they equate vegan with eating raw fruits and veggies. I know banana ice cream is on that list too though lol. Seriously that stuff is soooo good.

Anyway good luck and remember you are not perfect and that is ok. It does not mean giving up on trying though :)

What if you buy them already cut? At least until you get used to eating more of them...may be a little more expensive, but it will be worth it if it sets you up for success.

Baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, and celery can be cut-up quickly. These veggies (once they are cut-up) really go fast! Everyone is lazy every now and then.

I'm the same way. I eat a lot of fruit due to laziness.

I suppose it depends on how 'feral' you're prepared to be and if you mind about getting lots of funny looks/ comments but I eat cucumbers, peppers, cherry tomatoes, carrots and nuked potatoes whole!
