I slept in and missed the weigh in cut off time, but here's my stats for this past week. I'm always so focused on my daily weigh-ins, so I'm always so surprised at my total weekly weight loss. So far, my weight loss is pretty inconsistent, but for the most part, it is coming off, so I'm very happy. I've also met my 2 month mark, meaning I've stayed with this program that long, which is something I haven't been able to do on any previous diet I've tried (and I've tried them all! LOL!!).

1-3-12 286 Starting weight
1-7-12 280 Down 6
1-14-12 275.6 Down 4.4
1-21-12 274.4 Down 1.2
1-28-12 274.6 Up .2
2-4-12 272.8 Down 1.8
2-11-12 266.6 Down 6.2

Well, I stayed the same this week! I worked hard to stay away from the scale for the last few days, and I know that I had been down a pound at that point, so I'll hope that this is just a fluctuation. I don't count parts of a pound, just the whole number. Anyway, I'm doing well, so I'll just count on losing next week. Take care, LauraA

Well, I was 142 today, up a pound.

I know this works, but I'm not sure why I'm up. I followed MWL to a T this week. No eating out, lots of salads and potatoes. No breads, etc.

The only thing I can think of is that I've increased my exercise quite a bit. Running, biking and rototilling. My measurements are going down, but the scale is going up??

I'll stay the course and wait until next Friday.

Because of the weight gain last week I decided I'd better work harder this week.Really pay attention. Wow it paid off pleasantly with a loss of 3lbs. Thanks to Mary's Mini. Mostly potatoes and veggies and fresh salads.

I've decided to switch my weigh-in to Friday mornings, since I often sleep in on Saturdays and don't get my post in early enough. I read over the Mary's Mini guidelines again and realize that I wasn't really following it strictly, so I'm tweaking my meals and will follow the MM strictly for the next two weeks, then compare my weight loss results. Since I've been cheating by eating trail mix one or two times a week, I'm sure I'll lose quite a bit. :) AnneC

I blew it on Tuesday night and ate some things I shouldn't have. I have worked extra hard since then to make up for it. It's been a struggle, but I feel good about recovering. I would really like to average 2 pounds a week and I am hopeful that I can keep up this pace for a few more weeks.

Down 2.2 lbs this week. :)

I am officially not in the obese category anymore, yay! :D

It's taken me three weeks to lose 8 lbs., this is not coming off easily. For the past 7 days my average calories have been 818.5 and I have not deviated from MWL guidelines one bit.

This week I began walking so I have two days of 40 minutes, moderate pace and 30 minutes of yoga daily. My goal is to walk and do yoga every day.

I'd like to pick up my weights again because I know the fat will come off faster, however I think it wise to wait until my low back is consistently out of pain. That is a bit frustrating, but I cannot risk another injury, it takes too long to heal at my age. I'm learning patience.

Wow! Everyone is doing so great!!! Congrats on all the hard work and weight loss to show for it.
I am down exactly 1 pound this week. I expected things to slow down a bit, so this is great. Weighed in at 168.8 -- Just like veganjen, I am officially (just barely) out of the obese category!!!!! yay!!
