I'm going out of town tomorrow. So I probably won't be able to sign in for a number of days.

I hope everyone has a great time with their loved ones, eating what they want to eat (including those who want to have a feast  ) and not feeling besieged by relatives who don't understand the McD diet. I swear, after more than six years, I don't comprehend why my relatives can't remember "no animal foods, no added fats." Is it that complicated?

DianeR.

Thank you, and you too!

We always eat at our church which is near a military base. We pick up marines that can't go home for the holiday, and bring them to church so they can have a home cooked meal and some fun and fellowship.

Everyone brings tons of food - turkey, ham, potatoes, greens, desserts, etc. You get the idea.

I'm bringing a corn and bean dish, healthy vegan pumpkin bread, and a healthy potato salad. I won't have any turkey, but I will stuff myself with lots of good vegetables and potatoes. :D

I hope everyone on this board has a wonderful day, whatever their plans may be, and remember to count their blessings.

God Bless,

Noodle
