I am trying to follow the alkaline diet which seems similar to the plant based diet. Alkaline is basically veges and fruits, no diary or meat and very very little bread. I understand that vegetables are not complete proteins so what other combinations of vegetables make complete proteins? For example 'peas and carrots' i think might be one. Will you please see if you can provide me with options that are plant based fruits and vegetables combinations(no breads, no beans) or let me know if I will have to incorporate beans in my diet everyday? I have been all over the internet and cant find this info.
What vegetables are my best sources of calcium?
Are meat substitutes ok? Satan I think is one. Are these things safe? I tried mycoprotein but I understand this is a fungus!! How safe can that be?
Thank you so much! I know I included lots of questions.

Thanks, Pinkrose!
So, I see I will get enough calcium and proteins on this plan. I did not see quinoa listed - is this an approved food? I am using quinoa pasta (made form corn and quinoa) now, is that ok? I also noticed you dont approve of coconut, so is then coconut creamer not ok? I dont eat any soy. What would my other options be for cream in my coffee? (organic decaf of course)!! I also did not see almond milk listed. Is this ok? Almonds? Walnuts?
Help!
