Yesterday and this morning I am not hungry. I ate maybe 1 cup carrots 1 bannana, 1 apple, and a bean burito. (beans, tomatoes, lettuce). That was it and it was forced. This morning I'm still not hungry. Is this normal? Today is day 8 for me. Should I force myself to eat or wait it out? I'm a volume eater I can eat a whole bag of dougnuts and look for more.. This is werird.

Welcome aboard, Zeroturn!

In the absence of other signs or symptoms, I would fast until hungry and then eat until satisfied. I expect you body is adjusting to the new diet and that your appetite will return. :!:

Please keep us posted on your journey! :D

I recommend that you take a look at this video from Doug Lisle. He explains food density, and the amount of food that is needed to make you full, and he analyzes the western diet versus the plant strong diet and stomach volume.

I understand volume eating, and I took my volume vegetable eating to salad bar restaurants like Sweet Tomatoes, or a good Asian Buffet with several items, hibachi grill and salad bar. I have filled six plates this week for lunch at the asian buffet, in a massive vegetable gluttony attack.

I ate volumes of brown rice and vegetables this week and have lost 10 pounds in the past two weeks.

I had days were I wasn't really feeling hungry....my idea is that my body isn't starving for nutrients anymore.....therefore I am sometimes not hungry anymore..don't know if that is true or just my wishful thinking :D
Unless you are already very slim I would just wait it out.

I concur with mountain. There were a few times when I started that I would not eat for a meal or two. After what I had read before starting this program, I took this as a normal part of the process when I changed my eating habits. It never last more than a day and I was back to eating my way to health and losing weight.
