So about 1000Cals/pound which is in keeping with most refined grain products, but it fails Jeff's sodium density criterion by about 50%. Lower sodium might be better. If you don't have a weight problem you probably could do worse, but I think I'd limit my use of it and replace it as much as possible with foods of a lower calorie density. Just my opinion, and, talk about people hoping for a silver bullet from the pharmas, I'm still searching for the magic refined grain bread that comes in at 400 or 500 cals per pound. When you find that please post it here.

Actually, I am clinically underweight, so I can eat lots of calorie dense food. I will limit because of sodium. I have to start making my own bread at home.

I don't think we can make bread with 400 to 500 cals per pound, unless this bread will be cooked, not baked. :D
