 Post subject: Raw food

I have problems with raw foods. I experience indigestion, gas, bloating, cramps....
Is it OK to eat cooked food only for some time, until my digestion completely calms and then start eating small portions of raw food again? Have anyone went throught this?

Totally fine to eat only cooked. My wife has similar problem. She loves salads but gets pretty severe bloating and abdominal pain. The only raw food she really tolerates well is fruit (and that in moderation).

If you can't tolerate raw food, then don't eat raw food. I personally feel better when I eat some raw, but my system can handle it.

Also, if your system is not used to handling a lot of fiber and raw foods, you are going to have some bad gas and stuff while your gut bacteria adjust to the new diet. So it might take a couple of weeks for that to happen.

But, anyway, this is not a raw food diet.
