The results of this study are not surprising. Dr McD always says diabetes drugs don't work on adults so why would they work better on children?

Frustrating to read actually. Not even the physician commenter who says he treats childhood obesity says anything about a plant based diet or Dr. Barnard's study.

I would really like to know what the diet was that was prescribed for those kids who took the drug plus added diet. None used diet alone.
