It appears to. Dairy is designed to grow big cows, and it's known to increase IGF-1 levels. Seems logical.

Yep, a lot it not most of it is due to the IGF-1 promotion. Same w/ animal protein in general. When I went to India, where only the richest eat much animal sourced food, at 5'3" I was one of the very tallest people on the street, head and shoulders taller than the woman and most men. The only Indians taller than I were the portly to obese men in expensive business suits, the wealthy.
