So I've been making the switch to McD foods for health reasons, but I've made two simple observations that also make this way of eating nice.

Everything that is left over can go into the compost bin (no worries about if even a dab of dairy or oil will throw everything off).

It's okay to let my daughter lick the batter bowl when we are baking together (no more fear of raw eggs).

:-D

I too love the ability to lick the batter spoon and bowl. In fact, don't tell my kids, but I have been known to eat several cookies worth of dough raw.

Well, that would be normal in my house. The kids would just be jealous and demand some, hence rendering my double batch into a single batch before it even hits the oven. Of course, that could be an advantage now that I think of it. :?
