The first time I came across McDougall is
Through the youtube debate between fuhrman and
McDougall. I watched it and for 6 months thought
McDougall lost the debate. I didnt like the argument
That you know people used to eat starch. I thought
You know what lots of low carb eaters say we used to
Eat grass fed beef all day blablabla. fuhrman is saying
Forget what people used to it, they didnt eat based on
What was scientifically proven or shown to be good for you.
I respected that we need to eat more nutrient dense foods.
McDougall didnt seem to emphasize that in the debate. i have
Heard that asians eat rice twice a day or more. But you know
What I thought Im not going to eat something because a thin asian
Ate it. After all, rice is converted to sugar in your body anyway
Right? As far as your body knows rice is just sugar.
But then I noticed Jeff novick's arguments. He is simply
A fantastic dietician. Jeff tells you to debate him, to
Point out things if you think he is wrong.
So I gabe starch a try. I notices that on days I had oatmeal
For breakfast My blood sugars were stable. I had soooo much
Energy. i tried starch based meals all day for a few days. I worked
Long hours comig home at 9 pm. Guess what? I came
Home cheerful and told my wife I could work 5 more hours
If I wanted to. I slept 6 hours woke up ready to conquer the
Imagine if I didnt give starch a try. What a great decision I made
