Every bit of kharma I can muster is directed towards Nancy. She has been a vital part of these boards for quite a while. Sometimes all you can do is hope for the best. I'd appreciate it if life cut Nancy some slack here. If anyone deserves it it's her.

Devastating news. I'm sending positive thoughts her way. Am envisioning her full recovery with continued good health. Luckily she's a real trouper.

I agree that someone needs to impress on the hospital staff how important it is for her to eat nutritionally. Hope to hear soon that they have complied.

I'm new here but saw this and she is in my prayers for a miraculous recovery and hope her family takes her some better food. Even oatmeal.

I'm sending love and good thoughts to all involved. May the doctors and hospital do their very best. As far as food, when one of my daughters was in the Hosp after having a baby, I got her better meals at Wendy's than at Hosp. When another daughter had surgery, the doctor told me that the cafe for visitors had better food than what was given to patients! Take care, LauraA
